This looks like an interesting project:

    https://fbrc.dev/

I have no background in evaluating how legit battery tech is. Anyone know anything more about the project or that type of battery?

The tech is real, legit, and overcomes a handful of stationary storage issues. It is not without its tradeoffs, but will likely become a contender at the grid level. Maybe, once commodified, practical for the residential user. This project is not novel with respect to the type of battery. What's interesting here is that this intends to democratize/open the resesarch, planning, and development. The group appears to have the technical chops, so this seems well worth following. Thanks for sharing.

Hey wow I've made it all the way around the fediverse to find this post months later! I uploaded that to loops.video as a test. FYI, we also have a forum which is connected to the fediverse - not sure if these links will show on Lemmy (I am posting directly from our forum):

        !announcements@fbrc.nodebb.com
        !general-discussion@fbrc.nodebb.com
        !electrolyte-development@fbrc.nodebb.com
        !blogs@fbrc.nodebb.com

Feel free to jump in and ask questions! And thanks for your kind words @t_chalco@lemmy.world
